Maxwell Espinola is a poet and writer from Daly City, California. A member of the Class of 2025, he attends Summit Shasta High School as its first All Student Body President, bassist for the school rock band, and writer for the school newspaper. A passionate political activist and musician, his poems explore themes surrounding social justice, love, and self-discovery. In his free time, he enjoys writing fantasy stories, watching classic films, and playing mahjong.
