Jefferson High School Junior and 2021-22 Daly City Youth Poet Laureate First Runner-Up Jescent Marcelino performed her poem "Dear Jefferson High School" at their Centennial Celebration, 100 Years of Us, on Saturday, March 26. The event featured dignitaries from around the San Mateo County, including Congresswoman Jackie Speier, who took the time to give Jescent her personal congratulations and encouragement.
