At the Regular Meeting of the City Council of Daly City, DCPLA Director Amie Haiz presented a grant of $12,001 to Daly City Public Library.

These funds were raised at our annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon and from a generous grant from a DCPLA member.

A grant in the amount of $6000, part of the ongoing Gordon L. King, Jr. Memorial Grant, is to support Daly City Public Library's Summer Learning Program.

Another $6001, which was raised through the St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, is provided for the Library's 2022 "Fund the Need" items:

$1137: Book Display Furniture at the Westlake branch
$3000: Lucky Day Collection at the Westlake branch
$1864: Children’s Activity Tower at the John Daly branch.

We appreciate the support of our members and the community which enables us to continue to enhance the offerings available at Daly City's public libraries.
