On June 14, 2021, Daly City Public Libraries were presented with a grant of $23,000.

This grant is thanks to a generous donation from the Carl Gellert and Celia Berta Gellert Foundation, as well as donations from DCPLA members, donors, and sponsors, to purchase a laptop dispensing kiosk and computers for the John Daly branch.

Automated Laptop Dispensing Kiosks not only securely store, recharge and wipe clean computing devices but make managing a self-contained automated checkout program or supplementing a manual program easy and empowering for all library visitors.

We are excited about our libraries reopening to the public, appreciate Library staffs’ dedication to keeping patrons safe, and are happy to be able to provide tools to assist in that process.
